Introduction to Zentangle®

September 10, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

This Zentangle® workshop is for beginners (adults and teenagers). The class is presented by Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) Denise McMahon - Zentangle with Denise.

If you are wanting to learn how to obtain a relaxed focus for yourself or others, to be more creative and innovative in your thinking and to be able to think outside the box, then this is for you. You'll find it's a great space or mindset to get into. Begin with this introductory class to understand the method. There is no prerequisite and you don’t have to be good at art.

Learn a few tangles in the class and be on your way.

Denise is a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) enthusiastically teaching this amazing process. The Zentangle Method® was developed by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. It's all about drawing pre-determined tangles (patterns) in deliberate strokes and sequence, with pens and paper tiles. There's no recognisable object or predisposed expectation.  It's the process that is more important, not the finished product. With qualifications in teaching Visual Art and holding a Master’s in Education, Denise has seen the benefits of the Zentangle® process first hand and really enjoys sharing it with others.  https://www.zentanglewithdenise.com
